Pregnancy causes various Anatomical and Physiological changes in the gastrointestinal tract due to this gastrointestinal disorder are most common during pregnancy due to increased levels of Progesterone. Symptoms like Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Gastrointestinal bleeding and perforation are the rare complications during pregnancy.
