Biography
Prof Shinji Tanaka is an attending doctor of Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society, Japan Society of Gastroenterology, Japan Society of Coloproctology, The Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, Board Certified specialist of The Japanese Society of Gastrointestinal Cancer Screening, Tentative Instructor of Clinical Oncology of Japanese Board of Cancer Therapy, Certified gastroenterologist of The Japanese Gastroenterological Association. He is also a fellow of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology, International member of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Education Committee Member of World Endoscopy Organization, and editorial board member of various Internationally renowned journals. He was a visiting professor at the Fundação Riograndense Universitaria- Gastroenterelogia in Brazil and at the University of Iowa, USA.
