Pawan Mathur MS FRCS [Gen Surg] is a General, Colorectal & Laparoscopic Surgeon at The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Hospitals. His specialist interest is in Colorectal Conditions such as haemorrhoids (piles) anal fissures, anal fistulae, ulcerative colitis/ Crohns Disease, Pelvic Floor conditions and Colorectal Cancer. Mr Mathur qualified from St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School in 1990. He undertook a postgraduate research degree at the Royal Marsden and Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals and was awarded a MS thesis for his work examining the role of manipulating tumour blood supply on chemotherapeutic drug uptake in Colorectal Liver Metastases. He maintains an active interest in surgical research and continues to publish in peer-reviewed journals. In this regard he is Clinical Research Lead for Surgery in the Trust. He is currently the Principal Investigator on a variety of randomized surgical clinical trials. He also holds an Honorary Senior Lectureship at UCL Medical School, which allows him to pursue his main research interest in colorectal cancer.

Dr. Larry Good has been a practicing gastroenterologist since 1978. Dr. Good graduated Colgate University Magna Cum Laude in 1969 and received his M.D. with Alpha Omega Alpha status from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC in 1973. Dr. Good served a medical residency from 1973-76 and was Chief Medical Resident in 1976. He was fellowship trained in gastroenterology from 1976-78. Dr. Good has served as the Director of Liver Diseases at Nassau County Medical Center and was for many years Chief, Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Medicine at South Nassau Communities Hospital. Dr. Good was Chief Medical Officer at Ritter Pharmaceuticals in Los Angeles, California, where he expanded his research interest in the intestinal microbiome. Dr. Good’s current clinical research activities involve the microbiome, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and the application of orally administered gamma globulin to patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders. Dr. Good founded Good Pharmaceutical Development Co., LLC, in 2014. He is their CEO and is developing a topical product for treating neuropathic pain. Dr. Good was appointed as an editor of BMC Gastroenterology, a prestigious online peer-reviewed medical journal. Dr. Hohler completed the Boston University Seven Year Accelerated Medical Program in 1998. Dr. Hohler received an ROTC scholarship and upon completion of medical school entered the United States Army.

She completed a neurology internship and residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. Dr. Hohler served as Chief of the Neurology Clinic at Madigan Army Medical Center from 2002-2004 and Neurology Residency Program Director 2005-2006. Dr. Hohler completed a movement disorder fellowship at Boston University School of Medicine and joined the staff in 2007.

Dr. Hohler serves as Director of the movement disorder section of the Braintree Rehabilitation Facility. Dr. Hohler participates in the management of Parkinson’s disease patients and adjusts patients with Deep Brain Stimulation. Her area of patient focus and research is advanced Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson Plus syndromes. Dr. Hohler is involved in autonomic research in Parkinson’s disease and MSA patients. Dr. Hohler is also actively involved in medical education research, and research on abuse and violence and its impact on neurology patients.

Dr. Hohler is the Assistant Dean of Clinical Development and serves as the field-specific advisor for medical students interested in neurology and is the advisor for the student interest group in neurology.

Dr. Hohler teaching awards from American Academy of Neurology in 2003, 2005, and 2012 respectively. She has also received the Army Achievement Medal, The Army Commendation Medal, and Two Meritorious Service Medals for excellence in clinical and teaching skills while serving on Active Duty from 1998-2006.
